Hi there. Meet the writers…

Alejandro Dowling is a freelance graphic designer currently living in Santiago, Chile (after years in Chicago — the two cities couldn’t be more alike!). He is also a writer, comedian and filmmaker. His credits include 40 Years of Bijou, Bearanormal Activity and The Painter. He studied Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is still trying to figure out what that means.

Bryan Dowling has been a regular on the stand-up circuit since 2009. You may recognize him from Bad 3D Comedy, The Green Screen Variety Hour, Fat Wednesdays at The Blue Bayou and countless open mics. He also hosts the monthly show Bijou Presents at the Bijou Theater and is the star of Bearanormal Activity. He currently lives in Chicago in the Andersonville neighborhood near a Chinese restaurant that he has on speed dial.
